Silent Book Club

Silent Book Club - Weymouth/Braintree is a community of introverted readers who gather in person to read together in quiet camaraderie.

Often with traditional book clubs there's the scramble to finish the assigned book, and the pressure to have something smart to say.

Wouldn't it be great to have a book club where you could just enjoy books, friends, and drinks—without any homework? At Silent Book Club, there's no assigned reading.

We meet once a month at Widowmaker Brewing in Braintree. You can bring whatever book you are reading, and snacks or dinner if you want. Widowmaker will provide the beer 🍻

We start at 6, but if you need to arrive later that is fine. 

6-6:30 - Arrive, grab a beer, get your name tag and find a seat. You can start reading early or have a nice chat.

6:30 - 7:30 - Reading Time!

7:30-8 - Socializing time, or keep reading if you can't put it down!

It might be called Silent Book Club, but it is still a brewery and not everyone will be reading. Feel free to bring ear plugs or noise cancelling headphones if you'd like!
